Made with hand embroidery and stunning mirror work, our Sophie skirt is made to be worn on different occasions. It can be paired with our Choli top to have a complete and beautiful look. Or it can be combined with our Mila top as well. However you choose to wear it, it will add a very special touch to your closet.
Sophie is available in 5 colour ways – . It comes in one size as it is adjustable with hook and eye. It also has ties on the side for you to adjust to your body.
The fabric is Mashru, a vibrant and sleek fabric, often called the master of satin finishes. The Mashru fabric is made of silk and cotton. Each silk fabric passes under the cotton thread once and over the cotton thread many times. After the fabric is completely woven, they wash it with cold water and hit it with a hammer.
Sophie is made with our communities Sindhi Memon & Megwhal. The groups of women who create our embroideries in Kutch, Garat. They are the ones behind our Delfina Dresses as well! They are known for their embroidery and visual work as it is a reflection of their cosmogony. Every different technique – stitch, motifs and patterns – represents the diversity within their people, their unique culture and identity.
As modernity and urbanization keep growing, it is essential to ensure their work is paid fairly and set by the embroiders themselves. This is why we work with the organization Qasab. Qasab was set up as an initiative in 1997 to revitalize the embroidery craft of Kutch and reposition its cultural diversity by designing a business model that could create sustainable livelihood opportunities for embroiders and also become a platform for them to express their creativity.

SHIPPING
Shipping is included with all parcels. Please note that orders are dispatched from our studio once a week. Once shipped, parcels customarily arrive within 3–5 business days via SEUR or DHL (dispatched from Mexico or Europe depending on stock availability). DUTIES AND TAXES
For most destinations, estimated duties and import taxes are shown and calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. The total amount varies depending on your country’s import regulations.
- UK Exception (United Kingdom Orders): Please note that for all orders destined for the United Kingdom, duties, tariffs (12%), and local import VAT (20%) cannot be included or collected at checkout. These charges are determined by HMRC and will be billed directly to you by our courier partner (DHL UK) prior to final delivery.
- Tax Refunds: Refunds of duties and taxes for returned garments must be handled directly by the client with their local customs authorities or clearing agents, as these government fees are collected by destination authorities and cannot be refunded by Supernaturae.
RETURNS
Please note: All special archive sale pieces are considered Final Sale (non-returnable).
Return shipping costs and any associated international customs charges are not included and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your garment. If your dress does not fit or the color is not what you expected, you may request an exchange for another color/style (subject to availability) or a refund.

- Whether you are requesting a refund or an exchange
If your return request is approved, we will send you a return shipping label along with detailed instructions. The package must be dispatched within the next 3 days after receiving this label with your unworn garment in pristine condition. Items returned without prior written authorization will not be accepted.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
